We offer a screening service that measures your Plasma Glucose, Total Cholesterol, Blood Pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI). From these tests it may be possible to indicate whether you may be at risk of having Diabetes, High cholesterol, Hypertension and Obesity. After analysing these parameters, it may be possible to make a referral to your GP for a formal diagnosis and follow up where necessary. 

Our pharmacist will be able to offer lifestyle advice to reduce the risks associated with Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol and Obesity.

We recommend a fasting blood test to obtain a clinically relevant result. Therefore, please ensure that you have not eaten anything for at least five hours before the test. However, we suggest that you remain well hydrated by drinking enough water.
